Tyto Robotics (formerly RCbenchmark), which specializes in the development of professional testing tools for the characterization of brushless motors, propellers, and drones, including thrust stands, wind tunnels, and software that are used to precisely measure thrust, torque, RPM, power, and efficiency in drone propulsion systems, has entered an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) testing agreement with WindShape, a Swiss manufacturer of advanced flow generators for aerodynamic testing.
The five-year agreement will see Tyto distribute WindShape products worldwide, including wind walls, wind tunnels, the WindProbe measurement system, and their associated software, and will make the test solutions of both companies more accessible to UAV developers worldwide. This accessibility will be based on four initiatives: global distribution, integration with the flight stand testing ecosystem, expanded education and training resources, and the united goal of becoming a one-stop shop for UAV test equipment.
